  • Figs (fresh)

Materials

Preparation

  1. Start by making the Gorgonzola bonbons. Mash the Gorgonzola with the butter into a smooth cream and roll it into around 12 balls with slightly moist hands. Roll the balls through the sliced almonds and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Cut the Brie de Meaux into slices (not too thick). Peel and slice the banana. Peel and cut the pear into bite-sized pieces. Wash the strawberries and remove the tops. Attractively arrange all ingredients on a serving board and cover with plastic wrap. Place in the freezer.
  3. Break the dark and milk chocolate into pieces (or use chips) and place them in a bowl or pan on top of gently boiling water. Make sure that the bowl with the chocolate is not immersed in the water. Use a wooden spoon or scraper to stir the chocolate until it is melted completely.
  4. Gradually add the whipping cream until the fondue is nice and thick. Taste the chocolate. Is it too bitter? Stir in a little sugar. Pour the chocolate fondue into the chocolate fondue set. Remove the Gorgonzola bonbons from the freezer and add them to the serving board. Dig in!
