Key account Manager (full-time, New York City)

BOSKA is a Dutch housewares company with an emphasis on food tools – specifically cheese! We are an innovative, family owned company that has been bringing solutions to the cheese world since 1896. We have global distribution in all major channels and our products are available in over 90 countries!

Where are you going to work?
As a Key Account Manager you will be based in our office in Manhattan, New York City. You will travel about 30% of your time. You will work under the hierarchical and functional responsibilities of the Sales Manager.

What are you going to do?
You will operate within the sales and account management team. We are seeking a strong account manager to focus on Grocery Store and Food Brand channel. You (The ideal candidate) understands the wholesale sales cycle, know how to follow up and close deals and most of all puts the customer first. An understanding of the grocery store landscape is a HUGE plus!

What is expected of you?
Develop annual strategic plan for Account Group
Build upon relationships with key accounts, including buyers/planners/distributors and grow channel
Plan, attend and follow up at major trade shows (both food and housewares focused)
Prospect and cold call potential clients
Track all opportunities, actions and relationships in CRM
Communicate effectively between all departments (Marketing, Operations, Customer Service, Finance)
Be a TEAM PLAYER
Fulfillment of account/project management duties|
You will ensure timely and accurate information delivery to all clients
Traveling for sales meetings, trade shows and marketing events (30% travel)

You have excellent written and oral communication skills
Knowledge of Dutch culture is a plus!
You have at least 3 years of sales experience (Grocery store experience is a plus)
Experience in use of CRM, and good CRM habits
Bachelor Degree or commensurate years’ experience in Sales.
