The Cheese Cutter Parmesan Pro was specially designed to safely cut up the hardest cheeses in the world. It's a beautiful and super strong machine. This semi-automatic cutting system makes it easy to cut through hard cheese without exerting an exhausting amount of force. When not cutting parmesan with the wire, the board itself makes a fine general cutting board for other cheese, with the handle easily folding out of the way.  

How it works 
First, use the BOSKA Scoring Knife (554709) to create an incision across the entire cheese. Place the cutting wire into the notch, then tighten the wire by turning the handle clockwise. Turning the handle counterclockwise can bend and damage the wire. If you create a good incision and never turn the handle the wrong way, you could cut at least 100 Parmesan cheeses with one 0.8mm thick wire. This machine comes with safety glasses, highly recommended when using wire devices such as these in case of snapping.
