Our cheese cutting wires for the Parmesan Pro are stronger than ever. They were specially designed to cut those ever-so-hard Parmesan cheeses down to size. The cheese cutting wires are 0.8 mm thick. This is 0.2 mm thicker than the cutting wires that we usually recommend. If you create a good incision and turn the handle the right way, you could cut a fair number of Parmesan cheeses down to size with just one powerful wire.
Use our familiar Scoring Knife (554709) to create a notch in the cheese. Do this across the whole cheese - not just the corners. Place the cheese cutting wire into the notch. Tighten the wire by turning the handle in a clockwise direction. As long as you turn the handle in the right direction, the cutting wire will last you for a long time!
