Ingredients:
- 2 slices of bacon
- 2 slices of (sourdough) bread
- 1 tablespoon of butter (room temperature)
- 1 small red onion, sliced into thin rings
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons of guacamole (room temperature)
- 1 handful of tortilla chips, crumbled
- Fresh basil leaves, chopped
Preparation:
- Fry the bacon until crispy then place on a paper towel to drain the fat. Fry the onions until soft.
- Spread the butter on one side of each slice of bread. Place two slices of cheese on the unbuttered side of the bread, followed by the onions, guacamole, bacon, crumbled tortilla chips and another two slices of cheddar cheese. Top it with another slice of bread, buttered side up.
- Place the sandwich in the Toastabag®, then place the bag in the toaster or panini maker, and you're done!
