It’s no secret we love cheese boards every day of the week, but they’re an especially festive and delicious way to kick off the weekend. On Friday, June 14, 11 enthusiastic cheese lovers did just that during a very special workshop in Boska’s NYC showroom.
For the first time, Marissa Mullen (That Cheese Plate + Cheese By Numbers) and Kristine Jannuzzi (NYCCheeseChick, Italian Cheese Expert, and Cheese Writer) joined forces to host the ultimate Italian cheese class. After a guided tasting of three fine formaggi and Italian Speck, guests learned how to create stunning cheese plates using those ingredients, plus Sicilian olives, hazelnuts from Piedmont, fresh melon, and rosemary and carnations for garnish.
Everyone was given a Boska cheese board to use as their personal blank canvas, and after taking Instagram-worthy photos of their final creations and nibbling on their work, they took their boards home as parting gifts, along with a bag of other cheesy goodies!
